Since the second anniversary of the World Trade Center collapse was Thursday, September 11, 2003, the Department is requesting a FINAL DISASTER LOSS DATA REPORT (Appendix D of Circular Letter 11 of 2001) from all property & casualty insurers that had World Trade Center claims presented to them. This final report is to be submitted to the Department by the close of business Friday, October 10, 2003. The Disaster Loss Data Reports are to include separate information concerning Business Interruption and Workers Compensation losses.
The reports may either be sent by e-mail to Paul Orkwis at nys_insurance_disaster_coalition@ins.state.ny.us
or to porkwis@ins.state.ny.us
or by fax to 518-486-1503."
"ANNUAL REMINDER NOTICE"

Pursuant to Circular Letter 11 (2001) and its two amendments, all Property and Casualty insurers are requested to complete the annual Pre-loss Data survey forms and submit them to our Property Bureau, attention Vince Mazzarella. The instructions in completing the survey are contained in the Circular Letter and amendment #1.
Also, all insurers are requested to review their disaster liaisons information as well as their disaster response and business continuity plans. Any changes to the disaster liaisons information are to be reported immediately to Paul Orkwis, Consumer Services Bureau. (porkwis@ins.state.ny.us or to nys_insurance_disaster_coalition@ins.state.ny.us) Any substantive changes to your disaster response and business continuity plans are also to be reported to Paul Orkwis by June 1. Insurers that have not as yet submitted their disaster response and business continuity plans or completed the Disaster Plan Questionnaire are requested to do so by June 1, 2003. For further information and instructions, see Circular Letter 11 (2001) and its Second Amendment.
