Responsible for annual review of reserves and issuance of certificates of reserve valuation; review of actuarial opinions and memoranda; audit of minimum statutory formula reserves; drafting of legislation and regulations on reserves; review of rates and actuarial aspects of life insurance and annuity policy forms; review of reserve procedures for separate account plans of operation; review of applications for the creation of Continuing Care Retirement Communities; legal review and evaluation of life insurance and annuity contracts, related policy forms and viatical settlement contracts; drafting of legislation and regulations on life insurance and annuity policy forms.
