New York State
Automobile Insurance Sample Price Comparison

Automobile Insurance Resource Center | Interactive Auto Guide Index

This interactive form provides information and price comparisons to help you shop for auto insurance. It outputs sample premiums from 32 automobile insurers licensed in New York State plus the Auto Plan (Assigned Risk).

Your actual premium quote may differ significantly from the sample premiums based on your individual risk characteristics such as age, sex, marital status, territories, annual mileage, vehicle use, and driving experience. Additionally, many insurers have multi-tier rating programs which may consider other underwriting factors such as your credit history. Only an insurance company or its authorized agent can tell you the exact cost for your policy.

The sample premiums displayed here reflect the rates for private passenger auto liability, No-Fault and physical damage (comprehensive and collision) coverages in selected territories for the selected group of drivers. The rates shown are for owners or operators who have been licensed and have not had accidents or traffic violations for the past three years. The premiums displayed in this report are representatives of the hypothetical risks used in this guide and may not apply to any particular need.

The sample physical damage (Comprehensive & Collision) prices shown are for a moderately priced 2009 model 4-door sedan equipped with Driver and Passenger Air Bags, 4-Wheel Factory Installed Anti-Lock Brakes and Passive Anti-Theft Disabling device.
